Radrunner plus new vertical in electric cycles | RADRUNNER PLUS
About Rad Story
Mike Radenbaugh built his first ebike in 2007 as a way to get to high school and back, became totally obsessed, and founded Rad Power Bikes. For years he operated as a sole proprietorship, converting traditional bikes into electric bikes for local customers based on each person’s individual needs.
Mike always knew ebikes were the future of transportation, and his childhood friend and college roommate Ty Collins thought so too. In 2015, they joined forces to bring Rad Power Bikes to the masses. They relaunched the brand as a direct to consumer business with their first manufactured model — the RadRover electric fat tire bike — and have been on a wild ride of hypergrowth ever since.
You know an instant classic when you see it. If you come across a hidden gem that combines old-school cool with the power and promise of tomorrow, it’s almost like love at first sight.
Some masterpieces have to be admired from afar, maybe from the other side of a red velvet rope or behind glass. But not this one. This is a feature-rich piece you can ride.
Why does this sound like a 1960s motorcycle ad? The truth is, we had to turn back the clock to find the right words to describe the first limited-release member of the Rad Power Bikes lineup: RadRunner Plus.
